In today’s educational landscape, fostering student well-being, resilience, and connection is as essential as academic achievement. The NeuroSEL Method introduces an innovative framework that integrates neuroscience with social-emotional learning (SEL) to advance equity and holistic empowerment in education. Grounded in research on the brain’s four “feel-good” neurochemicals—dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins—the method illuminates how biology influences motivation, emotional regulation, trust, and resilience. By linking SEL competencies with brain chemistry, the NeuroSEL Method provides practical strategies to enhance focus, strengthen relationships, and cultivate belonging across diverse learning environments. For instance, dopamine-driven goal setting fosters persistence, serotonin regulation supports mood stability, oxytocin practices deepen social trust, and endorphin-based interventions encourage adaptive coping and stress management. Case applications in K–12 and professional learning settings demonstrate measurable improvements in student engagement, educator–student rapport, and community well-being. This paper situates the NeuroSEL Method within the psychology, mind & brain stream while engaging broader conference themes of humanity and human intelligence and education for global citizenship. By addressing inequities in access to social-emotional resources, the framework underscores SEL as a universal right and a pathway to educational justice. Ultimately, the NeuroSEL Method reframes education as a holistic practice that nurtures both cognitive and emotional development, offering tools to build resilient individuals and equitable, thriving communities.
