National Learning Camp (NLC) is the Department of Educations’ initiative to bridge gaps in education started in 2023, introduced since the country ranked below the PISA 2022 results. This focuses on the skills development in reading, numeracy, and scientific skills of students depending upon their level of performance as developing, nearly proficient, or proficient. With the years past, it is necessary to assess how gone far the intervention went through the country. Guided by Constructivism Theory, this study investigated the teachers’ readiness and challenges in the Division of Nueva Ecija. A mixed method employing sequential explanatory technique among 250 NLC teachers selected purposively. Data was gathered through questionnaires, and unstructured interviews analyzed using frequency, mean and percentage, thematic, and correlation analyses employing triangulation process. The findings indicated that they are highly prepared in terms of professional development, teaching materials, technological resources, and working conditions. This was justified as they integrated integrative tasks and differentiated instructions guided by instructional supervision, mentoring and coaching, and collaborative group discussions. Further, no significant correlation was found among the socio-demographic profile of teachers regarding their readiness. This shows that teachers practice varies in terms of trainings attendance, teaching instructional resources, and technology integration in the classroom. Additionally, teachers are well-prepared for the NLC but need to strengthen individual feedback, and group discussion leading to effective teaching and learning practice. Meanwhile, strong support in terms of learning resources and stakeholders was found while among the challenges were multi-grade level since teachers are lacking, and students’ absenteeism.
